I never really gave much thought to it before, but I think Thorn would be the type to hit puberty and BAM she's a lady. Fone Bone... Being the little nerd that he is, would be the type to squeak up until the summer of his junior year in High School.

Anyway, I feel like I was re-bit with the bone-bug just this past week, and I couldn't help it when this idea came into my head. As a major, "WHAT IF," what IF Thorn and Fone grew up together?

Character's often have conversations in my head, and in this instance, that's pretty much what happened. Thorn and Fone Bone were gabbing back and forth about what growing up would have been like if they'd done it together. So I drew these...

That sounds so weeeeird. Please tell me I'm not the only one who this happens to?

Thorn Harvestar and Fone Bone belong to Jeff Smith and Cartoon Books... (But I wish they belonged to me. I'm not that clever as to make 'em up by my lonesome)
